The conference is organised within the framework of the EMMA project which is funded by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020. It aims to enhance inland navigation and to strengthen sectors’ voice on waterways in the Baltic Sea Region. The project was approved as flagship for the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region by the EU Commission in the Policy Area Transport.
Two moderated panel discussions engaged by high level speakers from industry and policy will discuss the status quo, challenges and opportunities of inland navigation and river-sea shipping:
- Perspectives for inland navigation and river-sea shipping markets
- Inland navigation and river-sea shipping technology to meet navigational restrictions
Conference language is English.
A limited number of seats available only. Registration is going to be confirmed on a first come first serve bases.
